When it comes to the most critical organ in our health, the first organ that comes to mind may vary for everyone, but it can be said that the brain is among the top three in the ranking. So, what makes the brain so important?

. . .

The brain is an organ connected to our nervous system and is one of the main components of the system. Its general function is to ensure the continuous and smooth operation of the body’s systems. Maintaining brain health is also important for protecting ourselves from health problems that may arise in later stages of life.

Forgetting, under the name of forgetfulness, leads to the loss of structural functions of brain activity, causing significant challenges for individuals in the future. Unplanned early cell deaths in the nerve cells of the brain and consequently the failure to deliver information in nerve traffic bring about forgetfulness. So, what are Alzheimer’s and dementia, which are confused by the public, are they the same disease?

Although it may present symptoms similar to Alzheimer’s, dementia is actually a sub-type of dementia. What sets them apart is that Alzheimer’s can be prevented, whereas unfortunately, dementia cannot be prevented.

WHAT IS DEMANS

Dementia is a neurological disorder that encompasses behavioral disturbances that impede an individual’s daily life, occurring after cellular losses in the person’s brain. The most prominent symptom of the disease is the difficulty in remembering recent events and information. Patients can reach a point where they almost forget their home address, phone numbers, and even the names of their children, which is particularly distressing.

ALZHEİMER NEDİR

Alzheimer’s is a progressive brain disease. This disease can lead to memory loss, decrease in cognitive abilities, behavioral changes, and thought disorders. Alzheimer’s typically occurs in old age, but in rare cases, it can also affect young individuals. The exact cause of this disease is unknown, and there is currently no cure. Early diagnosis and appropriate management strategies can help alleviate symptoms.

People with Alzheimer’s disease often experience confusion related to time, place, and people. Memory loss makes it difficult to learn and recall new information. Additionally, there may be a decline in basic skills such as reading, writing, and math. As the disease progresses, individuals may have difficulty recognizing loved ones and performing daily routines. Behavioral changes, anxiety, depression, and fluctuating mood can also occur.

Alzheimer’s disease is a condition that includes symptoms of memory loss. Patients initially start with memory loss and it can progress to dementia.

To protect yourself from these diseases, you can use the following supplements:

Ginkgo Biloba: This plant, which is rich in antioxidants, prevents forgetfulness by affecting the nerve blood.

Folic acid: Regular use strengthens the mind.

Nero nutrients: It is effective in nourishing the brain nutrients.

Omega 3: Omega 3 acids found in foods such as fish increase brain cells and strengthen memory.

Other nutrients you can use:Vitamin C, choline, green tea, rosemary, etc.

YOUR HEALTH IS ALWAYS A PRIORITY!
